Notice of Public Hearing on Transportation System Development Charges

The City Council will hold a public hearing on proposed revisions to the City's transportation system development charges (TSDCs) on September 3, 2024.    

TSDCs are paid by new development, and provide funding to construct transportation improvements necessary to accommodate growth within the City.  Per state statute, TSDCs can only be used to construct the growth related transportation improvements identified in the adopted methodology report.

A draft technical report addressing the methodology and calculation of the proposed charges is available here, along with the draft adoption resolution.  It is important to note that while the methodology identifies a maximum possible fee, the actual fee presented for Council consideration and adoption on September 3rd will be much lower.  Public comments may be delivered at the hearing, or in writing by a deadline yet to be determined.
