PROJECT OVERVIEW

The City of Sandy is seeking a consultant from a professional firm to review the City’s existing door access systems and provide a recommendation, plan, and contract to implement a unified access system.

  • Sandy City Hall – 39250 Pioneer Blvd, Sandy, OR 97055
  • Sandy Public Library – 38980 Proctor Blvd, Sandy, OR 97055
  • Sandy Police Department – 39850 Pleasant St, Sandy, OR 97055
  • Sandy Operations and Transit Center – 16610 Champion Way, Sandy, OR 97055
  • Sandy Community Center – 38348 Pioneer Blvd, Sandy, OR 97055

Only three of the five sites currently have door access control, and two of those three sites lack the ability to control their main front doors. All other sites lack key card access entirely. It is expected that the Consultant will provide recommendations for a system that either provides interoperability between the City’s existing door access systems, or a recommendation and proposal of a new system to replace all existing systems.

The City of Sandy expects the firm to have experience in preparing an assessment and providing a recommendation that meets the City of Sandy’s needs. As provided by ORS 279B.060, the firm or consultant is required to meet the highest standard prevalent in the industry in providing the appropriate services.
