Long Distance Charges Waived for SandyNet Voice Calls to Ukraine

Many members of our city and community have family and loved ones in Ukraine. Understanding that the ability to get in touch can be disrupted at any time, the SandyNet team has enabled free long-distance dialing to the country of Ukraine on our domestic/international plans. All long-distance charges to Ukraine (380) country code will be temporarily waived. In this day and age with apps, and common cell plans that permit or have such low costs for long distance communication, our team wanted to make sure there were no barriers to getting in touch with family or loved ones. Our team will be evaluating the decision on a month-by-month basis and re-evaluating at the end of each month. March 31st, 2022 will be the next time in which we evaluate the waiver.
