Sandy Police Department
The Sandy Police Department's mission is to fulfill the public safety needs of everyone who lives, works, or visits the Sandy community. We are committed to community oriented policing strategies, collaborating with our stakeholders to ensure police resources are utilized to target those most critical law enforcement areas as identified. We understand our role is to engage and be a part of our community while dedicating our time to activities that deter crime and the fear of crime. We believe everyone should be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of gender, ethnicity, race, religion, color or sexual orientation.
Sandy Police officers handle criminal interdiction, investigations, traffic control/enforcement, and school resource functions.
