The Spengler family returns to the iconic New York City firehouse where the original Ghostbusters have taken ghost-busting to the next level. When the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must unite to protect their home and save the world from a second ice age.

Former American Idol contestant CJ Mickens is rocking the Portland music scene with a blend of dance hits from Pop/Urban, 80s & 90s, Country,  R&B, Funk, Rock and Soul fusion tunes. The band features CJ’s  dynamic vocals and effervescent stage presence mixed in with some audience interaction that will have everyone on their feet and singing along. 

Po must train a new warrior when he's chosen to become the spiritual leader of the Valley of Peace. Eagles Eyes tribute is ‘THE’ tribute to the legendary California country rock band. Audiences are mesmerized by this group of Vancouver, B.C. musicians’ precise vocal harmonies and service to the smallest of details in performing songs spanning the extensive Eagles’ Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame Career (including a few selections from Eagles’ solo careers!).

The Top Gun Naval Fighter Weapons School is where the best of the best train to refine their elite flying skills. When hotshot fighter pilot Maverick (Tom Cruise) is sent to the school, his reckless attitude and cocky demeanor put him at odds with the other pilots, especially the cool and collected Iceman (Val Kilmer). But Maverick isn't only competing to be the top fighter pilot, he's also fighting for the attention of his beautiful flight instructor, Charlotte Blackwood (Kelly McGillis).

Much like Earth Day, Arbor Day is a holiday that celebrates nature! Its purpose is to encourage people to plant trees. Trees support the health of our planet, provide habitat for many critters, and reduce stress in humans. Planting even one tree makes a difference!

Calling all superheroes, wizards, and space explorers! It’s Free Comic Book Day at the Sandy Library, and we’re celebrating with free comics for everyone and fun-filled activities!

The City of Sandy and Hoodview Disposal & Recycling are excited to announce the return of our annual curbside cleanup event!

We are celebrating National Library Week with Fines for Food! (4/6 - 4/12).

Pay any amount in overdue fines and the Sandy or Hoodland Library will waive an equal amount. All fines paid during National Library Week in Sandy will be donated to the Sandy Community Action Center and in Hoodland to the Neighborhood Missions Food Pantry to purchase items in need.

The City of Sandy invites submission of Proposals to provide bids to craft a sandblasted wood sign for the Hoodland Library in Welches, Oregon.
