Sign Variance Code and Application

Sec. 15.32.150. Variances to standards.

There may be rare instances where a combination of strict application of the standards in this chapter and/or public safety concerns may preclude use of signs as a communication medium for a primary frontage. In these cases, it may be appropriate to vary a particular standard to enable a property owner to utilize signs in a manner similar to others in a district.

ERUs for Vacant Commercial & Industrial Buildings

The table in the PDF below shows vacant commercial and industrial buildings in Sandy along with their associated ERUs.  The ERUs are calculated based on the previous use of the property before it became vacant, and they indicate the size of wastewater system demand that can be accommodated at that site for a future business, under the terms of the City's consent decree with EPA and DEQ.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR DOOR ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM

COVER PAGE

The City of Sandy is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to assist in the design and implementation of a unified and centralized door access control system as outlined in this RFP. Door access control for city facilities will help handle the authorization and access for employees as they perform their job duties. Door access control also helps automate the locking and monitoring of city owned facilities.
