Mahjong

Mahjong has moved to the Sandy Library!

Come play Mahjong at the Sandy Library.

Beginners welcome.

An introductory course will take place at 2:00 pm, followed by regular play at 2:30 pm.

No set (game pieces) required to join, but, if you have a set, please bring it with you.

Date: 2nd Saturday of each month
Time: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Location: Hoyt Community Room at the Sandy Library

Planning Commission Meeting - VIRTUAL ONLY (due to Inclement weather)

MEETING DETAILS TONIGHT:
With snow falling in Sandy and with freezing temperatures and more snow in the forecast, Commission Chair Wegener has decided to move the Planning Commission meeting this evening to 'virtual only'. Chair Wegener wants everyone to participate from the safety of your own home.

Read to the Dog

Do you have a child working to improve their reading skills? Bring your child to the Sandy Library to read to Tanis!

Tanis will be in the Sandy Library children's area and he would love it if you read him your favorite book! Read to the Dog is a great way for your child to practice their reading in a fun environment.

We are partnering with DoveLewis’ Portland Area Canine Therapy Teams program to offer interactive reading sessions for readers looking to develop their confidence in reading aloud with a furry companion.
