RFP: Telecommunications Department Space Analysis

Project Overview

The City of Sandy is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to assist in creating the City of Sandy’s IT and Telecommunications Department Space Needs Analysis as outlined in this RFP. A space needs document is important for future planning, design, and potential construction of a facility capable of housing the City’s IT department as well as Sandy’s municipal Internet Service Provider (ISP) operations.

Tiny Art Show Kit

Each Tiny Art Show kit includes a 3”x 3” canvas, easel, and artist's place card. Paint the canvas at home, fill out the place card, and return it to Sandy or Hoodland Library by January 31, 2024, to participate in the library's Tiny Art Show. The show will run through February 29. Participation in the art show is optional if you take home a kit, but enthusiastically encouraged! Artists are responsible for picking up their artwork from March 1 - March 15, 2024.

Pick up this kit beginning January 2nd.

Police Chief Finalist Reception

Join us for a community reception on Wednesday January 3rd from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Sandy Library Community Room.  Hear from the finalists, have roundtable conversations, and provide feedback.

Envision Sandy 2050 (Comprehensive Plan)

On February 20, 2020, the City Council adopted a Council goal to initiate an update of the City's Comprehensive Plan which was created in 1997. This goal included a plan to review options and approve an implementation strategy to update the Comprehensive Plan. Over the following year, staff worked on identifying a schedule, forming a budget, applying for grants, and other miscellaneous tasks associated with initiating an update to the Comprehensive Plan.
