Request for Proposals for Sandy Area Metro (SAM) Operations
The City of Sandy Transit Department, known as Sandy Area Metro (SAM) is requesting proposals from a qualified firm that can demonstrate competency and experience in providing public transportation services.
The objective of requesting proposals is for the City to contract with a firm that can offer public transportation operation services, including but not limited to managerial staff, dispatch, drivers, maintenance coordinators and bus washers/utility workers.
Funding for this project will come from USDOT Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grants, administered by the Oregon Department of Transportation, Oregon Statewide Improvement Funds (STIF), a local tax and fares. Proposals are being solicited from consultants who have experience related to public transportation services.
Submittals will be accepted by SAM until 1:00 PM PMT, February 19, 2025 at the Sandy Operations Center, 16610 Champion Way Sandy, Or 97055. Submittals may be mailed or hand delivered, 4 copies are required.
