Women's Book Club

For women who love good books and like to talk about them.

The Women's Book Club meets the second Thursday of each month at 6pm in the Sandy Library Community Room.

For December 12th, we will be discussing  I Miss the Rain in Africa by Nancy Wesson

 

Kids Club STEM - Holiday Light Up Cards

 
Kids Club is for grades 1-5.
 
November's STEM activity is Light Up Holiday Cards: Kids in grades 1-5 are invited to join us for a fun and creative STEM workshop where they’ll make their very own light up holiday cards. Design, decorate, and add a special glow with easy-to-use LED lights. Bring your festive spirit and creativity, and let’s make some bright holiday memories together! This class is limited to 24 kids. Registration required. 
 

Sandy and Hoodland Libraries - Closed

The Sandy and Hoodland Libraries are closed on Monday, January 20th in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Hoodland Library Giving Tree

 

Bring your new or handmade hats, ear-warmers, mittens, gloves, scarves, socks and slippers, as well as new/unopened toiletries, to decorate the holiday tree at the library. The items will go to the Hoodland Community Christmas Basket program for local families. Applications for baskets will be available at various locations in the community, including the library, beginning Nov. 1.

Donations will be collected Monday, November 18 - Wednesday, December 11
