Notice of intent to adopt parks system development charge methodology

Notice of intent to adopt Parks System Development Charge methodology. 

A new Parks System Development Charge (SDC) Methodology is being proposed for adoption by the City of Sandy City Council. The new methodology is needed to reflect changes in the existing master plan system and projected needs for the future master plan. 

Oregon SDC law requires a 90-day notification period prior to the first public hearing for adoption of a methodology modification, and the proposed methodology must be made available 60 days prior to the public hearing. 

It is the City of Sandy’s intent to hold a public hearing to consider the new Parks System Development Charge methodology. The public hearing on the new methodology will be held on September 6, 2022.

You may comment in one of three ways

1. Attend the meeting in person. 
2. Attend the meeting virtually (To testify virtually during the public hearing, register by emailing the staff contact listed below, before 12:00pm, Wednesday, August 31st, 2022, with your name; phone number; and if you are speaking for, against, or neutral on the project/subject.  The mayor will call upon those who have registered to speak.)
3. If you wish to comment but cannot attend the public hearing, please address written comments to the staff contact listed below.
