Operational Cost Assistance Grant Program

The Oregon Legislative Emergency Board on January 8, 2021, allocated $100 million to provide commercial rent relief assistance and operational costs assistance to small businesses and landlords adversely affected by economic conditions as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Following two rounds of distribution of Commercial Rent Relief assistance grants, approximately $28 million ($8M of federal CARES Act and $20M of state General Funds) remains to be distributed through the Operational Cost Assistance Grant.

This Wednesday, May 26, Business Oregon will open the final portion of a program to provide grants for small businesses to help with commercial rent and operational costs in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

WASHINGTON – Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman, head of the U.S. Small Business Administration, today is announcing the latest application data results for the $28.6 billion Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF), passed as part of the American Rescue Plan, and signed into law by President Joe Biden. The RRF has received more than 147,000 applications from women, veterans, and socially and economically disadvantaged business owners, requesting a total of $29 billion in relief funds.

Request for Proposals for Professional Auditing Services

The City of Sandy is seeking proposals for the audit of its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) and the Sandy Urban Renewal Agency’s Annual Financial Report from qualified certified public accounting firms. A complete description of services to be provided is described in the attached RFP.  The first reporting period to be audited is July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021, extending through the next two subsequent fiscal years. 

Proposals are due May 14th at 3:00 p.m.
