Public Works

The Public Works Department is responsible for operating and maintaining the water, sewer, stormwater and transportation systems within the city limits.  Use this link to access the Public Works website for the City of Sandy.

Police

The Sandy Police Department is responsible for the public safety needs within the City of Sandy.  Our mission is to fulfill the law enforcement needs of all people who live, work, or visit  with the highest degree of fairness, professionalism and integrity, while protecting the inherent rights of everyone to live in freedom and safety.

Planning

The Planning Division is responsible for guiding the City's land use development process, long range planning objectives, and some components of urban renewal. Planning staff are responsible for ensuring that development projects conform to the municipal code and state law. Parks in Sandy

 

Sandy is incredibly proud of its parks system, from the 1.75-mile Tickle Creek Trail, to neighborhood playgrounds, to the 127-acre Sandy River Park. All told, there are 19 parks within Sandy city limits.
