Support a sweet cause with March for Meals!

Join us at Scoop N Swirl on March 5th from 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM for a delicious way to give back. When you stop in for your favorite ice cream treat, a percentage of all sales will be donated directly to support our local Meals on Wheels nutrition program.

Every scoop helps provide nutritious meals and meaningful connection to seniors in our community.

Restaurant Fundraiser

Throughout the month of March we will hold fundraisers through restaurant partnership. When you eat out a percentage of the sales at specific restaurants will go towards the Sandy Meals on Wheels Program.

Participating Restaurants:

Scoop N Swirl-Thursday March 5th from 11:00am-9:00pm

Smokey Hearth-Wednesday March 11th from 11:00am-8:00pm

Sandbar BBQ-Monday March 1th from 4:00pm-8:00pm

Mt. Moka-Friday March 20th from 6:00am-6:00pm

Dinner & Bingo

Join us for a fun and meaningful evening in support of our Meals on Wheels program! This year, we’re hosting a Bingo & Dinner Fundraiser to help raise critical funds that support nutritious meals and social connection for older adults in our community.

Guests will enjoy:

A Delicious Taco Bar Dinner Sponsored by Taqueria El Jaliscience

Four games of Bingo with a variety of prizes (Movie Tickets, Candy Baskets, Pizza and More)

Merry Makeover Challenge!

Get ready for some holiday fun in Sandy!

 

As part of Sandy's Winterfest, our Parks and Recreation Department has invited all Downtown Sector businesses to join in on the excitement of Winterfest with the Merry Makeover Challenge!

This is a festive decoration contest for our local businesses to show off their holiday spirit! The top three businesses, along with the coveted Mayor's Choice, will snag some awesome prizes and, of course, ultimate bragging rights!

Get Ready for Sandy’s 1st Annual Winterfest Holiday Market!

 

Join us in Meinig Park 12/6, 12/13, 12/21, 12/22 at 4:30pm for a magical holiday experience filled with twinkling lights, festive vibes, and a charming vendor market featuring local makers selling yummy treats, handmade pottery/jewelry, Christmas decor and more!

And if you arrive around 5pm on 12/6 you might catch some special guests from the North Pole wandering the park.

Lace up your sneakers, grab your cozy holiday gear, and join us for the first-ever Winterfest Jolly Jog & Walk! This cheerful 5K fun run and walk is the perfect way to kick off the New Year with family, friends, and festive spirit.

Discover the secrets of the season and explore our Autumn forests with Sandy’s Bee City USA Action Group & Clackamas River Basin Council (@clackamasriver) on a guided hike along Tickle Creek Trail

Creepy Crawly Encounters: Dare to Touch these Tiny Terrors?

Join us for creepy crawly encounters at the Sandy Community Center this October! Get up close and personal with fascinating critters (like roaches, crickets, worms, flies, and more!!), learn about their incredible roles in our ecosystem, and get tips if you want to raise them in your own home! Not all bugs may be touched or held, but there will be a whole lot to see and learn 

All ages are welcome (it's a very fun and FREE event for children and adults alike!)
