Water Quality
The City of Sandy has three water sources. During the spring, fall and winter approximately 50% of the City’s supply is purchased from the Portland Water Bureau. The remainder of our supply comes from Brownell Springs and Alder Creek. During the summer when demand increases, each source provides approximately one-third of the total supply.
Sandy's water supply routinely exceeds EPA standards for water quality. The City of Sandy's most current Oregon Water Quality Services data report and Consumer Confidence Reports for calendar years 2004 through 2019 are available below (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader).
For additional historical water quality data, please visit the Oregon Health Authority-Drinking Water Program Water Quality Online website. Results for all testing and analyses of the City's water (both at the source and in the piping system) going back to 1981 can be found here.
