October Kid and Teen Take and Make: Mini Pumpkin Decorating Contest

Contest Rules:

• Participants must be in grades K - 5th or 6th - 12th.
• Pumpkin submitted must be the one supplied by the library. 
• One entry per participant. The mini pumpkin must be decorated by the participant. 
• No carving or candles! Please use paint, markers, glue, googly eyes. feathers, gems, or other craft supplies for your design.
• Pick up and drop off decorated pumpkins at Sandy or Hoodland Public Library during open hours.
• Pick up your mini pumpkin and entry form from Sandy or Hoodland Public Library starting Tuesday, October 1.
• Return your decorated mini pumpkin and entry form to either Sandy or Hoodland Public Library by Tuesday, October 22. Voting begins on Wednesday October 23. Voting will take place in person at the Sandy and Hoodland Libraries. 
• Contest entries will be displayed in the library.
• Winners will be selected and contacted on Wednesday, October 30.
• After the contest you can pick up your pumpkin on Thursday, October 31. 

Prizes:

• There will be two winners for each library and grade category. The winners voted "Best in Show" will win a $20 gift card to Dairy Queen. All participants will be entered into a raffle for a $5 gift card to Dairy Queen.
